Trioxic.com was purchased in my senior year of High School. Instead of going out on the weekend and partying with my friends, I would stay in my room and make countless free websites in the AOL universe. After a while I would crave more control over the way things looked and decided to buy a domain name. Back then, domains used to be around $70 a year! I don’t even remember how much I used to pay for hosting which I used to procure from Earthlink. My first choice for a domain name was trioxin.com which, if your a Zombie nerd, know that it’s the chemical that turns the dead into the living dead. I think some crappy Metal band had already beat me to the punch so I ended up making up the word trioxic. I don’t even know how but it just happened. The site lingered from re-design to re-design as mostly a Journal on my daily life. Nothing really interesting.
A simple Google search brings up various other people using the name now including an ‘electronic artist’ which I got into a stupid flame-war with about 6-8 years ago.
I plan on mainly using this as my very personal daily life account. Pictures, video, blogs and whatever else I can fit under this umbrella. I have way too many projects going on at any given time but as of right now this will be my main hub.
Such a huge difference from back in the day when I used to make my graphics with various freeware programs,GIMP and code using a notepad on a Packard Bell 486DX2 with a 420 MB Hard Drive.
I think I just dated myself with this description.
